I want to share a post Em made December 23, 2017.  As many of you know, life after high school was a struggle for her.  She went through many, many dark days.  But she never complained.  She put on a brave smile and keep going.  It's sad that sometime we don't really know what people go through and realize how amazing they truly are.

Today at work, one of my coworkers asked me "How are you so positive everyday?  You're always smiling. My answer to her was Well when you've been at a low point in your life and thoroughly contemplated suicide and you don't and you get to where you are now, you kinda don't take that for granted.  Man, this made my whole Christmas.  I can't tell you a better gift than giving other people a reason to smile.  I am always steady trying to make people laugh, I sing to the music (loudly and terribly I might add) at work or just randomly singing High School Musical or Moana. I really enjoy lifting others spirits.  Two years ago I was on drugs, my marriage was literally failing before my eyes and I couldn't fix it.  This is where I was mentally, physically, emotionally, whatever comes next.  This is it.  This is where I was heading.  I can't thank God enough for this Christmas even if I'm working.  It's obvious to Him, that I'm supposed to.  That's where He wants me and NEEDS me to be.  I can't be mad at that.  I am truly blessed.  Man, do I serve and AWESOME God.

She learned a lot and gained much wisdom in her short life.  My life is forever enriched by her.  She was amazing!!! If you didn't know you, hopefully you can get a glimpse of the wonderful young lady that impacted all those she came in contact with!!
