Love Wins. Love Always Wins.
“Life is a series of pulls back and forth... A tension of opposites, like a pull on a rubber band. Most of us live somewhere in the middle. A wrestling match...Which side win? Love wins. Love always wins” ― Tuesdays with Morrie
Don and Gale,
I feel the need to worse you two this letter. I hope you can read it.
Emily held a very special place in my heart. She was truly a gift to the world. She was one of those people who would really give you the clothes off her back. If she had it, you had it. If she had food and you didn't, you had food. She had the most generous heart. And she always, always, looked after me.
Y'all's daughter was there for me through a lot of hardships. She was there for me through family troubles, breakups, sobriety. She has seen me in my best moments and my darkest moments. Ad she has always accepted me. No matter what, we were always able to laugh.
I have felt the strongest urge to talk about her. She hasn't left my mind. I wish I could convey in better words what your daughter meant to me, and how special she really was. I will think of her fondly and I will think of her often. I will always love her.
I know she loved you both very much. She often spoke of you each.
I will always remember what each of you said to me yesterday. I will treasure it.
Yours
Angel Long.
