Bloom where you’ve been planted

In memory of Em, my niece Mady made a wreath of flowers. Each aspect of the wreath is significant to Em’s life.  It was made with love and to be a happy reminder for us to see her beauty, smile, shine and love through out.

Gerber daisies - Em’s favorite flower

Sunflower - Her other favorite flower and a memory of her Granddaddy, Gerald

Lilles - in memory of her paternal grand parents

Hydrangeas- for Moe

Black-eyed Susans - A memory of the cousins together with Em at Moe’s.  Always in bloom every summer.

Poppies - sign of remembrance

Eucalyptus leaves - symbolizes the division between Earth and Heaven

Pearl lights - they symbolize her generosity and wisdom.  The world was her oyster and she was the pearl

The lights - symbolizes the song “Be A Light” by Thomas Rhett

Don and I will hang the wreath for everyone to see and remember that no matter how long or short our life is, we can have a BIG impact of love and life!

  1. Gale, the wreath is just gorgeous and it captures your daughter in every way. What a wonderful gift to remember her by. I hope you are healing one day at a time even though I know you never get over the loss. I love reading your blogs and seeing you pour out your feelings (good or bad) and hope it is helping you to journal those feelings. Love and Prayers to you and your entire family. ❤
